"Booker T's Towns" is dedicated to The Historic Black Towns and Settlements Alliance, Inc. (HBTSA), a steadily growing organization founded in 2014,of historically all Black towns, whose mission is to preserve, teach, pass on the history and culture of all Black towns founded at the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth century. The founding members of the HBTSA are Tuskegee Institute, AL, Hobson City, AL, Eatonville Florida, Grambling, LA, and Mound Bayou, FL. The Honorable Johnny Ford, Former Mayor of Tuskegee, AL, and one of the founding Mayors of the HBTSA, nicknamed the original towns, "Booker T's Towns", because they all were supported in some way by Dr. Booker T. Washington.
In this musical drama, representatives of the 5 founding towns of the HBTSA gather in 1915, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the 15th annual meeting of the National Negro Business League, to share their history, and to salute and thank their mentor, the League’s Founder, Dr. Booker T. Washington.

Booker T. Washington.
